Hand painted Futuristic kitchen

Having a soft-furnishing and interiors business of my own, I get to see a lot of kitchen refurbishments and hear the various tales of the clients experience of this process, so I was pretty nervous when it came around to sorting out my own kitchen!

Having waited 15 years for my new kitchen I wanted to get this right and I approached a fair number of companies. Quality was my main concern, as well as the price of course. Another problem we had was that we had some size constraints with the kitchen and I needed some bespoke cabinets made etc., which some companies find impossible apparently!

It was a very frustrating experience and i didn't really feel happy with any of them but then, along came Judith and Steve at Basically Trade! I was very impressed with the quality of the sample doors and their pricing is fantastic and i have to say this is the best company I have ever dealt with. I sent them my detailed dimensions, drawings and layout which they then drew up on their CAD system. Even better they emailed this along with a video which talked me through the whole process and flagged up any anomalies etc. This was so useful. Fantastic.

The team really did go above and beyond in helping us resolve some of the issues. Unbelievable patience! The queries were sorted, the kitchen was ordered and it was delivered on time, by their own team. Unfortunately for them the units had to be taken up two flights of stairs but they couldn't have been more patient or obliging. Having arranged the fitting ourselves we were concerned that we might encounter some problems then. However, we were very impressed with the packaging of the units and the efficient cross-referencing of all the components and the fitting was completed with no hitches at all!
